Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, helping manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support smooth site operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:45 AM - 04:30 PMSat05:45 AM - 04:30 PMSun05:45 AM - 04:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access to the location. Verify identification, credentials, manifests, and/or visitor information, and maintain required logs and reports related to site activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
