As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you may operate a vehicle to check perimeter areas and respond to calls for service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or process-area concerns to site contacts per post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or vandalism; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access points and visitor activity by checking identification, confirming authorization, and documenting entries and exits in logs and/or electronic systems as required. Complete timely reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity updates, and communicate relevant information to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site management. Minimum Requirements: Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience. Possess a TSA issued TWIC. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Have customer service experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
