As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and onsite teams while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including checking alarms, investigating disturbances, and/or contacting emergency services per post orders. Help to monitor access points and community amenities by observing for unusual activity, assisting with visitor and/or delivery routing, and reporting policy concerns to site leadership. Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
