Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for protecting patrons, staff and assets to ensure the integrity of the gaming floor and company property by patrolling and monitoring the entire gaming site, interior and exterior, as well as controlling access to restricted areas. They will also be responsible for paperwork and administrative duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets patrons at the door and performs identification checks
  • Provides floor surveillance, perimeter checks (internal and external), and attendance counts
  • Maintains current knowledge of BCLC security regulations, protocols, and procedures
  • Respond to any first aid calls
  • Checks equipment during foot patrols
  • Participates in GPEB or BCLC investigations and/ or audits
  • Reserves machines for patrons and helps keep the gaming floor tidy and clear
  • Conducts open and closing duties as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned while ensuring the highest level of customer service

Have you got what we need?

  • Must be of legal age to work in a casino
  • 1-3 years of customer service and security experience
  • Gaming Security Officer certification will be required
  • BST (Basic Security Training) and Security License is an asset
  • Must have solid computer skills
