Job Title: Security Officer (Full-Time)
Location: Kent, CT16 1
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Shift Pattern: 12 hour shifts to start to secure the premises.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid SIA licence (Essential)
  • Enhanced DBS (Desirable will be processed and paid for successful applicants)
  • Safeguarding knowledge is desirable (training provided)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident and professional approach to conflict resolution
  • Excellent customer service abilities

Responsibilities

The site is currently under construction, and we will be securing the building from the 11th July 24/7. The successful candidate will then proceed to corporate duties, front of house mid-August. Therefore, a transition of manned guarding to corporate security for change management.

  • Carrying out patrols locking doors and windows, all fire exits checked
  • Front of House
  • Customer service with visitors for the museum and the library for the community hub.
  • Responding to alarms within the building
  • First Aid responder
  • Computer duties including CCTV and access control management
  • Knet Access control
  • Access control ID pass checks in the morning and evenings
  • Unlock the site on time ready for clients
  • Lock the site once a patrol has been completed and the site is empty
  • Key Management
  • Customer care with clients and community members.
  • Patrols and vigilance
  • Alarm management set and unset
  • Good communication with clients and reception
  • Ensure facilities can access the site in the mornings
  • Retain local knowledge of in house contacts
