As a Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, control access, and document security-related activity while providing standout customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or public responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations. Prepare clear, timely reports of observations, incidents, and shift activity, and support security-related investigations by preserving notes and available evidence per site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security experience. Possess an active DoD Secret clearance. Be 21+ years of age. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. CPR Certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
