It's one of the first steps towards a rewarding career in corporate security in the growing field of commercial real estate. You have a strong work ethic and bring a positive, customer-centric approach in everything you do. You will learn how to operate and manage security video, C-Cure building access, fire alarm, intercom, telephone, public address system, NVR systems and two-way radio communications systems. You will also maintain the security and safety of the building by managing approved after-hours access, incident reports and being ready for emergency situations. A clear criminal history and you must pass a drug test. An ability to obtain a valid California BSIS Guard Card within 6 months Ability to stand at post for prolonged periods of time, walk patrols on regular basis, and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Be certified - or obtain certification within 6 months - in first aid, CPR and AED. What you'll bring You're proficient in the security control room and with related systems and equipment. You regularly monitor emergency broadcast messages and life safety scanner. You maintain accurate reports and logs of after-hours access, incidents and activities. You have professional and positive interactions with tenants, clients, staff and the public.
