As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a commercial real estate location. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:30 AM - 06:30 PMTue10:30 AM - 06:30 PMWed10:30 AM - 06:30 PMThur10:30 AM - 06:30 PMFri10:30 AM - 06:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access. Monitor the location for any unusual activity or security-related concerns and report findings according to site protocols. Work closely with building management and Allied Universal team members to address site-related needs and support a secure environment. Complete detailed and accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies. Assist with access control measures, including verifying credentials and greeting authorized personnel and visitors. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience in access control and/or badge systems is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
