Position Summary The Security Guard is responsible for guarding, patrolling, and monitoring premises to avoid theft, violence and the infraction of rules.  This position provides customer service and safeguards the assets and people within the premises and campus of the agency.  This position reports to the Manger of Security. This is an onsite position. The Security Guard applies the principles of the organization’s signature service delivery approach, Primary Client Model (PCM™), by promoting a positive employee/client-focused experience that is appreciative of the unique strengths, values and needs that each individual brings; and by using data to inform and drive decision making. Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.  Minimum Experience, Education, and Qualifications Minimum Education:  High school diploma or GED/HISET preferred; experience in lieu of education considered.   Minimum Experience:  1-3 years’ experience required.   5 years’ experience if in lieu of education. Certification/License: +40-hour Domestic Violence training certificate from an approved PCADV training program required and may be completed post hire. Mandated Reporter training certificate required and may be completed post hire. Valid driver’s license required. Security Guard certification a plus.
Responsibilities
The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling premises, monitoring security cameras, and controlling access to prevent theft and violence. They also provide customer service to clients and guests while documenting irregularities through detailed incident reports.
