Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 42 per week average
Shifts: 4 on 4 off nights 1900-0700
Consortio Security is recruiting a professional and proactive Security Officer to join our team at a busy Logistics site in Normanton. This is a key role where you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, and contractors, helping to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid SIA Licence (DS, SG, or CP)
• In-date First Aid certification
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to commute to and from site reliably
• Understanding and respect for personal boundaries at all times

This is not a static or passive role. You’ll be expected to stay active, manage multiple responsibilities, and respond quickly to situations as they arise. Duties include:

• Controlling access and egress to the site
• Conducting regular internal and external patrols
• Managing parcel deliveries and supporting fire safety procedures
• Providing first aid when required (training must be up to date)
• Logging incidents and completing reports accurately
• Supporting residents and staff with a professional and approachable attitude

You’ll be working both independently and as part of a team, and must be confident in making decisions and prioritising tasks. This role suits someone who is hands-on, alert, and comfortable in a busy environment.
