Job Title: Construction Site Security Guard
Location: Virgil, Ontario (20 minutes from Niagara)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION

247Gard Security is currently hiring Construction Site Security Guards for our new project in Virgil, Ontario. Guards will be responsible for ensuring site safety, preventing unauthorized access, and maintaining a professional security presence.

This position requires wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times, including:

• Reflective Vest
• Hard Hat
• Safety Shoes

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification (preferred)
• Previous security or construction site experience is an asset
• Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills
• Must be reliable, professional, and punctual
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must have own reliable transportation (no public transit available to site)

• Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access
• Conduct regular site patrols, ensuring safety and security compliance
• Report and document any suspicious activities, incidents, or hazards
• Enforce site rules and regulations in a professional manner
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and the 247Gard dispatch team
• Ensure PPE is worn at all times while on duty
