As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout the premises. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or potential threats within the location. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related inquiries and access procedures. Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required by site protocols. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
