Job Description As a Security Officer - Cultural Institution Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.56 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the grounds and perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor the environment for any unusual activity and report observations according to established protocols. Assist visitors and staff with directions, information, and general inquiries as needed. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required. Complete reports and maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as directed by Allied Universal guidelines.
