Job Description As a Security Officer - CRE Access Control Desk in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entrances and exits, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will also utilize technology such as computers or tablets and may respond to alarms as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:30 PM - 06:30 AMThur10:30 PM - 06:30 AMFri02:30 PM - 10:30 PMSat02:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying identification and/or credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors as required by site-specific policies. Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises according to company procedures. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions or activities. Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
