As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed06:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur10:00 AM - 10:00 PMSat10:00 AM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols. Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors as needed. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required. Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities and any incidents that occur during the shift. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and property staff to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
