Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed05:45 AM - 06:00 PMThur05:45 PM - 06:00 AMSat05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing authorized individuals throughout the location. Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and other controlled access points to help support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized activity within a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and appropriate emergency response activities. Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate security-related concerns, policy violations, and unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe conditions, report hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and help support established security-related procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with DPSS/DHS COLA requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
