Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will interact with shoppers and staff, provide strong customer service and communication, and support daily operations through teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:30 AM - 04:30 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor foot traffic, observe for suspicious behavior, and support access control practices for restricted or employee-only areas in accordance with site expectations. Assist with customer and employee interactions, provide directions and information as needed, and support loss prevention awareness by reporting policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious activity. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
