What You'll Do: Provide customer service to individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal. Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site. Observe and report incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel in accordance with company and site-specific protocols. Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence. Support access control protocols by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required. Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies. Complete required documentation and reports related to security-related activities and incidents. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
