Job Description As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you’ll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You’ll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they’re needed most. Position Type: Full Time - Morning Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government aviation location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking areas, restricted perimeters, and other assigned zones; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and employee entry processes by checking identification, badges, and/or authorized access lists in accordance with post orders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and/or hazardous conditions, and notify appropriate personnel as required. Complete timely reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and/or public agencies when needed. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
