What You'll Do: Control access to the location by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following established procedures. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas within the logistics and distribution environment. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with site-specific access procedures and general inquiries. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Maintain accurate records of access control activities, including visitor logs and incident reports, as required by site policies. Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and incidents. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
