As an Allied Universal Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control at entry points, verify credentials, greet drivers and visitors, and help maintain orderly traffic flow for daily operations. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and following shipping and receiving check-in protocols. Monitor and document inbound and outbound traffic including deliveries, trailers, and vehicles, and report suspicious or unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing reports and escalating concerns per post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, yard, parking areas, and perimeter, monitoring doors, gates, and key areas for security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
