In this role, you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, support badge and visitor processes, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:00 PM - 07:00 PMThur12:00 PM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location. Document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or contractor activity, and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, access issues, and/or conditions that may require follow-up. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
