Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a retail location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify access, and support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations as assigned. Document visitor activity, deliveries, and security-related incidents, and communicate notable observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
