Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor activity across the location and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact for follow-up. Assist with crowd flow, line management, and customer inquiries during busy periods, special events, and/or peak shopping hours while maintaining a professional presence. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
