Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail and mall location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail location. Monitor entrances, exits, and/or designated access points, checking credentials, permissions, and/or visitor information to help support authorized access throughout the property. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, common areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention. Assist with crowd management, directional support, and general presence within the mall environment to help support order and provide a professional point of contact for security-related matters. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
