As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a cutting-edge aero and defense location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, conduct access and perimeter checks, and document security-related activity with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies, including visitor check-in, credential verification, and directing individuals to authorized areas. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns. Monitor access points, alarms, and cameras as assigned, report irregular conditions, and coordinate with site contacts and/or emergency responders per post orders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical calls, and other emergency response activities as directed. Complete detailed shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and access control records, and communicate important information during post transitions. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. Loss Prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
