As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Rounds in Allentown, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri05:00 AM - 01:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant observations and actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location by observing arrivals and departures, verifying authorized entry when required, and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact. Support a respectful residential environment by assisting with routine inquiries, providing directions, and communicating with residents, guests, and/or staff regarding security-related matters. Minimum Requirements: Candidates must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
