In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while using teamwork, integrity, and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with access control protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established site procedures when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns, noting that working environments and conditions may vary by site. Support restricted area access procedures, assist with screening and/or badging processes, and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent application of post orders and client-directed guidelines. Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
