As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location. Control access at entry points by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges when authorized, maintaining visitor logs, and directing arrivals to the proper check-in process. Support vehicle and shipping and receiving access control by monitoring gate activity, validating delivery and pickup documentation, and coordinating with site contacts for authorization. Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
