As an Allied Universal Security Officer on an access control post at a leading automotive location, you will welcome employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, and manage gate and lobby entry using computer and/or tablet systems. You will maintain a visible presence, document activity, and help deter security-related incidents through clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supported by a team that acts with integrity. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location. Control entry and exit for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs. Monitor gates, dock areas, and/or entry points for unusual activity and report concerns using required communication and reporting processes. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
