As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee badge processes while maintaining clear, professional communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Control access at gates and/or entrances by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing authorized personnel to the proper areas. Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other access control systems, communicate via radio and/or phone, and report unusual activity or policy violations in accordance with post orders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services, and completing required documentation. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or damage, with working conditions that may vary by site area. Minimum Requirements: Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
