What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following site-specific screening procedures, access policies, and/or emergency response instructions at a government location. Operate screening equipment and perform screening of persons, packages, and property in accordance with post orders, including directing individuals through checkpoints and managing secondary screening when needed. Control entry by verifying identification, credentials, and/or authorized access lists, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining orderly queues at screening areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command and documenting actions taken. Complete required documentation such as screening logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal management and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required. Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
