Job Description As a Security Officer - Facility Roving Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues, and assist tenants, visitors, and staff with friendly customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to incidents with professionalism. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, retail corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting on-site management, and/or requesting law enforcement or medical support as needed. Monitor access points and observe cameras and/or alarm activity when assigned, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns through the appropriate channels. Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
