Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols. Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any security-related incidents occurring at the front desk area. Assist in directing visitors and employees as needed, providing information and guidance in accordance with site-specific requirements. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or behaviors. Support emergency response activities as required, including communication with appropriate personnel and first responders. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
