Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Front Desk Full-Time in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while supporting security-related protocols. Your responsibilities will include verifying access, assisting with badge procedures, and providing outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to manage entry and help to deter incidents through your professional presence. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or clients at the front desk in a professional manner, providing a welcoming presence at the location. Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs, helping to uphold site-specific security-related procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related concerns or incidents. Support the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Assist in emergency response activities as directed, following all location guidelines and Allied Universal protocols. Maintain a visible and approachable presence at the front desk to help to deter potential security-related issues within the facility. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
