Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Front Desk in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will be stationed at the main entry point, greeting visitors, monitoring access, and verifying credentials to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, creating a welcoming and secure environment for employees and guests. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:30 AM - 12:30 PMTue07:30 AM - 05:30 PMWed07:30 AM - 05:30 PMThur07:30 AM - 05:30 PMFri07:30 AM - 12:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk of a financial institution location, verifying identification and managing access according to site-specific policies. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity in a timely manner. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and/or assisting with visitor registration as needed. Maintain accurate records of visitor logs, incident reports, and/or other security-related documentation as required by the site. Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related concerns and/or incidents. Follow all security-related procedures and protocols specific to the financial institution environment. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
