What You'll Do: Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry. Provide customer service by addressing questions and assisting visitors, employees, and contractors in a professional manner while following site-specific protocols. Observe and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or unusual conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Document and maintain accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and patrol findings according to site standards. Follow all established procedures and policies related to access control and security-related operations. Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures. Minimum Requirements: Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
