As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and document activity using site systems. You will remain visible, complete routine patrols, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Manage access control at entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas. Support shipping and receiving operations by screening inbound and outbound traffic, checking driver documentation, confirming trailer and container numbers, and coordinating with site contacts for gate releases. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as required. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including docks, yards, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred. Customer Service Experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
