You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flow as needed. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution facility. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, escalation, and documentation per post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of the interior, exterior, loading docks, yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor access points and vehicle and/or trailer traffic flow as assigned, helping to verify credentials, direct drivers to designated areas, and support controlled entry and exit. Complete routine security-related logs and reports, communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and assist with loss prevention awareness as directed. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
