As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support security-related operations by greeting team members and visitors, verifying credentials, controlling access points, and documenting activity with clear communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen employees, visitors, drivers, and packages at entry and exit points using approved screening methods, verifying credentials and/or appointments, and directing individuals to the appropriate location. Monitor access control points, maintain accurate logs of entries, exits, and screening results, and report irregularities according to site protocol to help to deter unauthorized access. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and assisting with coordination of response actions. Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, warehouse areas, and perimeter routes as assigned, observing for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations and reporting findings per post orders. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required. Applicants must be 21+ years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
