What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, residents, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify maintenance issues, hazards, and/or unsecured areas. Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying authorization when required, and directing guests and deliveries to appropriate locations. Complete routine reports and activity logs, communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed, and support security-related operations during special events or high-traffic periods. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. The ability to operate a Segway or T3 is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
