As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, corridors, exterior areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document entries and exits in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed. Prepare clear, timely reports of patrol observations, incidents, and completed tasks, and communicate handoff information to the next shift. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
