Join Our Team Security Officer About the role The Security Officer plays a vital role in protecting the life and safety of guests and employees while safeguarding the physical assets and property of the resort. This position ensures that safety and loss prevention standards are met, incidents are prevented, and timely responses are provided in emergency situations. What you will do • Protect the life and safety of guests and employees while ensuring the security of all resort property. • Conduct regular proactive patrols to prevent incidents, manage disturbances, and identify potential safety risks. • Secure resort areas not in use and respond promptly to emergencies involving guests, employees, or property. • Take appropriate action when faced with disturbances, crimes, or threats to life and property. • Document incidents by writing clear and accurate accident or security reports. • Assist guests and employees with service-oriented support related to safety and security needs. • Maintain a strong presence throughout the resort to deter unsafe behavior and ensure guest confidence. • Collaborate professionally with the Security Manager and team members. What you bring • Ability to speak, read, and write English. • Previous experience writing or reporting accident documentation preferred. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite preferred. • Strong observational skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in challenging situations.
