As a Security Officer - Front Desk Access in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.
As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees at the assigned location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to manage visitor logs and respond to inquiries, all while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and providing directions or information as needed.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
