Job Description As a Security Officer Front Desk Commercial Access in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring access, managing badge control, and responding to security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations and help to deter unauthorized activity through your presence and communication skills. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or tenants at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, signing in visitors, and issuing badges as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner. Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs. Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and/or visitors to address inquiries and provide information about the location. Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to security-related protocols. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
