As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will serve as the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and guests while helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attentive service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 AM - 07:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Welcome and provide customer service to all visitors and staff at the front desk, following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry. Respond calmly and resourcefully to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and escalating as necessary. Maintain logs and reports of daily activities and security-related incidents at the front desk. Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including communicating with emergency personnel and implementing site protocols as directed. Support a professional and secure environment by observing and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered at the front desk. Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related needs and concerns specific to the healthcare environment. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred. Applicants should be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
