Description
As a Security Officer at Paragon Tropicana, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our guests, team members, and property. Key Responsibilities: * Patrol hotel and casino areas to enforce rules and ensure guest and staff safety * Respond to emergencies, disturbances, thefts, and accidents * Escort cash, slot, and table game transactions * Identify and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, and underage guests * Write detailed incident reports and maintain security logs * Assist guests and employees professionally and respectfully * Communicate effectively with management, team members, and law enforcement when needed Requirements: * Must be at least 21 years old * High school diploma or GED required * Valid Nevada Driver’s License * Nevada Gaming License * CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) * Previous hotel/casino security or law enforcement experience preferred * Able to stand/walk for extended periods and respond quickly to incidents Paragon Tropicana is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains the policy of recruiting and retaining the best-qualified personnel who demonstrate the ability to perform competently and work well with others.
