SECURITY OFFICER – RYE, TN31

Pay: £12.50 per hour | Shift Pattern: 3 Days On / 3 Days Off | Hours: 07:00–19:00
City Group Security, a leader in diversity and inclusion with a female-majority board, is looking for a professional and motivated Security Officer to join our team. We provide tailored security and facilities management solutions across sectors such as education, healthcare, student accommodation, charities, corporate, and estate management.
Location: Rye, TN31 (Candidates must be within 40 minutes travel)

• Conduct regular patrols of the industrial park, keeping buildings and assets secure.
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to alarms or disturbances.
• Control access, operating barriers and checking visitor and employee credentials.
• Maintain detailed logs of incidents, visitors, and irregularities.
• Provide first aid and emergency response when needed.
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Ensure all security equipment is operational at the start and end of each shift.
• Remain vigilant for suspicious activity and take action according to protocol.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and liaise with emergency services.
• Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries at the park entrance.
• Conduct thorough handovers for colleagues on the following shift.
