The Security Team provides an essential front-line service in safeguarding staff and visitors, in addition to artwork and other museum property. Security Staff Essential Responsibilities: Monitor multiple security systems, including: CCTV, alarms, fire detection Receive guests and deliveries Maintaining visitor and property logs Patrolling buildings and grounds Conducting art counts Deliver excellent service, both internal and external Maintain high standards of safety and security Requirements Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 6 months experience in a safety, security, or related field Customer service experience preferred First Aid and CPR certification a plus Qualifications: A strong passion for the mission and commitment to delivering Philbrook's vision Strong customer service skills in a public setting Strong verbal communication skills Ability to use good judgment Able to handle confidential information with discretion Organizational skills, attention to detail, and calm under pressure Must be able to stand and walk 50% of the time CLEET trained and certified preferred but not required First Aid/CPR/AED training preferred but not required Pay & Schedule Information: $15/hour 8:00am - 4:00pm Wednesday through Sunday (will occasionally be needed on Mondays and Tuesdays) Note on Environment: This position will require being outdoors at times, and it may be hot/cold or we may be experiencing inclement weather.
