You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues, support access control, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and promptly notifying the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, including visitor check-in, badge verification, and directing guests to the appropriate areas per site procedures. Complete routine security-related reports, activity logs, and shift handoffs using site-required tools and/or systems, escalating issues according to post orders. Minimum Requirements: Have 1+ years of security experience. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
